A select group of Abba fans met for a drink before the Abbamania concert on Sunday 22nd October.  Committee member Peter Cleland tells us that there was a wide spectrum of age groups represented but he was relieved to see that I was not the oldest. There were a surprising number of young women in the audience who were clearly on the lookout for a lively evening.

We were treated to the full retinue of Abba songs starting with Mama Mia. There was little dialogue in between the songs.
As the evening continued the audience became more lively with most of us standing and swaying side to side with the music.

As always Abba songs are uplifting and everyone left feeling more positive and optimistic and perhaps a bit nostalgic for those good old days.
